This site informs you about the project
We explain, why we did the website, we discuss why we believe that the history of the women’s movement still matters today, we introduce our website team and the course Hist/Wmst/Euro 259 “Towards Women’s Emancipation: Women in Modern European History,” and finally, we inform about the history of the colors (purple, green and white) in which we designed the website, which were the colors of the militant women’s suffrage movement in Britain before World War I.
